Clarion Collection® Hotel Kongsberg

Hade bokat ett familjerum. Rummet var väldigt litet och trångt. En våningssäng var placerad vid toalettdörren. Toalettdörren gick inte att stänga helt, så var en glipa. Otrevligt att ligga intill en toalett. Inga avlastningsytor för resväskor. Tråkigt att nytt hotell bygger så små rum. Hotellet låg vid en mycket trafikerad rondell. Biltrafik hördes in. Fantastisk frukost. Nytt och fräscht. Skön dubbelsäng med fluffiga kuddar och täcke. Trevlig personal. Parkering under hotellet. Dock betalparkering. Vi kunde parkera gratis i Oslo, men fick betala dyrt här.

Nytt hotell, fräscht med väldigt sköna sängar med täcke och kudde i dun. Personalen är väldigt trevliga och vid vårt uppehåll var det inkl middag och fika. Enkelt med parkeringshus med laddare till elbil mot betalning. Väldigt bra frukost och fin atmosfär. Rekommenderas varmt. Reste med man och 2 barn (2&0år)

When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by a very nice receptionist without feeling that it was "small". Got a room on the 7th floor right by the lift with a view over the river. Much less noise from the traffic outside this time, which I am very happy about! The bathroom is large, and I am satisfied that you can also regulate the heat and air conditioning in the room! :) Large and comfortable bed, clean and tidy everywhere which also gives an extra star! :) The breakfast, fika, evening meal were absolutely lovely and are absolutely worth the price! The only negative is that it is poorly soundproofed, so if you are a light sleeper, it can be difficult considering all the traffic in Kongsberg.. It can also be a bit difficult to find..

From the warm reception to the spectacular breakfast (see photos), this hotel is a winner. The parking is underneath and easily accessible via elevator right to your floor. Staff is helpful and personable. Rooms (with AC) were comfortable and immaculate. Gorgeous renovation.

This is a beautiful new hotel not far away from the old town of Kongsberg. We were driving through on our way to Gardermoen Oslo Airport and decided to stay. The ride to the airport on the next day took us about 1.5 hours (on a weekend day.) The hotel is tastefully decorated and the room had all we needed. A comfortable bed, big TV screen, wifi, coffee/tea station, ironing equipment. The only thing that was missing was a working desk, but maybe that was because we ended up in a family room. The double, collapsible bunk bed looked very stylish and comfortable, Should be a good place to go with kids. The bathroom is smallish but modern, clean and functional. Soundproofing is great so we really had a good night´s sleep. Loved the breakfast and the decoration of the breakfast room. We went up to the gym which has a nice view over the town, but didn´t use it. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. There is underground parking which costs extra. Shops are a close walk away and if you have the time, do go for a walk to the old church over the bridge. It doesn´t take long and the area is quite pretty.
